Some say jigsaw puzzles are exercise for the brain. Maybe, but we prefer to think of them as constructive fun.
Growly Jigsaw constructs jigsaw puzzles on the fly from any picture that's big enough not to have microscopic pieces. It has 14 pictures built in, and almost 150 more available from our website—accessed directly from the app. Or you can create a puzzle from your own picture—a master shot from your camera or anything copied from the web.
Every puzzle is unique, even if you reuse the same picture. There are so many available edge shapes that the total possible number of piece shapes is over 150 million. But if you like things a little cleaner, you can restrict the shapes to simpler ones that are easier to distinguish when you have a lot of pieces.
You choose the size of the puzzle, from 50 pieces to 1,000. You can also choose the color of the background, whether pieces are rotated or not, how dragging works, and whether the picture frame is pinned to the board.
It's not rock climbing or rocket science, but it's almost as much fun as you can have sitting at your computer.
