04/4/26: Notes tabbed windows have been fixed

This is not April Fools. I finally found a workaround for the random change in Mac OS 26 Tahoe that prevented window tabbing from working in Notes. Yes, it really was not my fault. Notes also has some other bug fixes.

Some other apps also have updates:

  • Calculator has several bug fixes, most related to Tahoe.
  • Write also has many bug fixes, some for Tahoe, some just because I’m human too.
  • Apps with only minor changes are Draw, Groceries, and Journal.



02/14/26: Valentine's Day chocolates?

Not from us, sorry. Just a bunch of software updates. You may have noticed that Mac OS 26 Tahoe has a rather different look. We think the changes are for the worse (yet again) but they required some changes to a few of our apps.

Notes is still not able to do tabbed windows under Tahoe. I'm going to revisit this soon. Stay tuned.

  • Backup can use the selected action line as an example for new ignore rules.
  • Calculator has some important bug fixes.
  • Photo has bug fixes and can now update the creation date (from the metadata) of multiple photos at once.
  • Write allows you to set bold (or other formats) on all text in the first row of a table.
  • Apps with only very minor changes are Draw, Journal, and Notes.
